Your Arrangements |
Your original composition is
a work of art but now you need to transpose it
to another key. Perhaps you want to add
another instrument also. Or maybe you want
to add some basic guitar chords or fret
diagrams. We can do that for you and it is
still your music; now it's your very own
arrangement.
We can arrange your original
composition and give it the notation and the
professional look you want all your music to
have.
And yes, we can arrange your
arrangement! Now your arrangement will
contain all your changes and will be printed
with a professional flair.
You'll have something you can be proud to
share with other music lovers or something you
can submit to publishers. |

As the Deer
Piano
The first
time I heard this lovely song was in my church's Girl's Ensemble where
we sang an SSAA arrangement of it. I arranged it for piano at the request
of a good friend.

I'll Fly Away (some glad
morning)
Brass quintet
I first
arranged this piece by Albert E. Brumley as part of an
assignment for a class I was taking with Sammy Nestico.
The first arrangement was for a horn, 3 trombones, and a
euphonium because those were the players we had in our
small class! I later modified it for brass quintet.
A brass
quintet consists of 2 trumpets, a horn, a trombone, and
a tuba. This combination of instruments has become
increasingly popular but there is a considerable lack of
music for this genre. Some brass quintets you might have
heard (or heard of :) are the Canadian Brass and the
German Brass.

All Night, All Day, All Night
String quartet
"All Night, All Day" is an
African American spiritual that is very calming. I
teach my students the words to this song in school, and
wanted to arrange it for the Augusta Symphony string
quartet to play when they visited Bel Air Elementary
School. |
Be Thou My Vision
Violin and cello
This pretty piece was
arranged at the request of my best friend. It was
played at her outdoor wedding in Savannah, Georgia.
The ceremony was beautiful
and the musicians played from a gazebo in the center of
Whitfield Square. |
When Love Is Found
Orchestra
When I sang this
relatively new hymn along with my church congregation on
Valentine's Day, the beauty of the voices and the words
moved me to tears. Since the words are such an integral
part of this song's beauty, I arranged it for SATB
voices and full orchestra. There's also another familiar
hymn tune that sneaks its way in--can you name it?

I Love to Tell the Story
Piano and organ
music:
William G. Fischer (1835-1912)
This favorite
hymn is heard here for 2 pianos, but is actually a duet
for organ and piano (pedal organ part is included) in
the style of the famous organist/pianist duo of Paul
Mickelson and Rudy Atwood.
The
arrangement was first performed February 20, 2000 at
Trinity on-the-hill United Methodist Church in Augusta,
Georgia. Thanks go to Cindy Wilkinson, organist,
and Robin Allen, pianist, for the surprise performance.
